Hi all while looking for parts for my w/c rig I had the idea that if I can I'd be beter off using one type of hose fitting wherever possible. So which kind produces the best most reliable seal?

compression
barb
or push

I personally really like the 1/4" compression fittings that are on my koolance blocks as it seems to be about impossible for them to accidently come off let alone leak.

I personally like using barbs... the tubing is hard enough to pull off without a hose clamp, and with a good hose clamp theres almost 0 chance of leakage. I say almost because some people might mess up and do something wrong, but for the most part that will be the best for not leaking.

i'm using push in fittings on my swiftech kit, but i would most definately reccomend getting compression

With barbs and worm drive clamps, you'd tear the tubing before you could pull it off the barb.

They kind of look like the T-bolt clamps that I use for the ic tubing on my car. Should seal and grip the tubing like a SOB. thanks
