Mouse error with 8KDAJ?

Just wondering if anyone encountered this problem.

I have a new system with the following components:
Epox 8KDAJ, latest BIOS
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ with Zalman CU7000
NVidia 6800GT
2 x 1Gb Corsair PC3200XMS
Hitachi 160Gb SATA
Netgear MA111 wireless adaptor (USB)

Mouse is a Logitech MX700 wireless, connected via USB.

Now it's a completely brand new system, and I'm unable to swap components to see if it's the mobo, mouse or other parts playing up. However, the mouse worked fine in my previous system along with the wireless adaptor, so I doubt that's the problem. And before anyone comments, I know the RAM is running out of spec since I'm using 2 x double sided DIMMs, but they seem to run fine and check out with Memtest. I'm not overclocking right now, and all temps look fine (full load mobo 40 Celcius, CPU 50 Celcius).

So the problem is this. The mouse intermittently slows down or locks up. It can work fine for 5-10 minutes, then suddenly go into seizure and not work for 10 seconds or so. During these times the buttons refuse to work, as well as the scroll wheel.

Any thoughts here? I've turned on mouse USB support in the BIOS, but that doesn't seem to do anything at all...
