My 4 year old logitech wheel mouse (like this except blue and grey) is starting to die. It double-clicks on a single-click every so often, which gets a bit annoying when gaming.
I was at BB and CC a couple weeks ago and did not like the feel of anything there. Would it be possible to take the guts from an MX518 or maybe even one of the new laser mice and stuff them into a case like the one I have? I don't care about keeping all 37 buttons, two buttons and the wheel is fine for me. just curious if it would fit at all, or if the circuit board is too big. any other options out there?
