Running exchange 2000 on win2k server, for some reason exchange seems to have stopped deleting its log files. I've heard that the original version of NTbackup that shipped with win2k didnt back up exchange, but we should have a sufficiently updated version (checked the file versions).
I ran "eseutil" to see when the last checkpoint was made, and it references the 47E0 log file. The last file I can see is 47DF, and of course the E00tmp, So it should be all backed up I would think, but it just doesn't delete the old files. It is set to remove log files after 1 day (which i'll increase once it stops filling the HD).
is there some other setting that i'm missing? for now i've just copied most of the log files to another computer and removed them from the server.
