I was looking for some answers to problems with my P55-GD65 and found the following notice on MSI's Customer Support site... I can't recall I have ever seen something like this among top tier suppliers. Oh well... I guess they are big winter olympics fans.

February 14th marked the first day of the new Lunar year for many Asian cultures. In some cultures it is customary to celebrate the new year for the entire first week, so that is most likely why they have shut down their customer service for the time being.

I highly doubt it's for the Winter Olympics. If it is, I'd be pissed at them, but seeing as how it's a cultural reason, it's understandable. Then again, I am Asian myself, so perhaps I have a bit of a bias there :p
 
Yep, Chinese New Year.

There was a nice Chinese resturant in this area that served a killer 12-15 course New Years dinner and we used to book the whole resturant on a Sunday for a great private party.

Unfortunately they closed. :(
