The most amazing thing about this video? It was written, directed and animated by a 22 year old guy over a seven month period.

amazing skills O_O this is the original vid link
Blender, Maya, zBrush, Nuke, After Effects, probably some others I dunno...Wonder what software he used for the rendering and animation?
Seriously good. Would love to see more of this story line.
Good job for a one person project but the script is utterly terrible, complete trash. As a sci-fi fan, I expect more than this same old regurgitated and repetitive garbage. What makes a good movie (or even a small project like that) isn't the CGI, but the script/writing. I'm pretty sure a 10 years old could have written some more cleaver.

lol, as a sci-fi fan, were you offended?
Probably because the "machines rebel against their creators" bit has been played out so many times. It's the new time travel. Oh wait, the Terminator did both in the 1980's. That being said, I enjoyed this video. I thought there could have been improvements in the sound effects department. The ripping off of the machine's head just didn't have any weight to it. But visually the whole thing was stunning. The story is played out but with science fiction the devil is in the details more than the overarching story line.
It's hard to come up with a completely original storyline in today's world with all the literary, interactive and film works out there. So again it's all about presentation.
I wasn't offended, but I was totally disappointed by the unimaginative, bland and generic story. Very uninspiring. He clearly has skills but not as a writer for sure.lol, as a sci-fi fan, were you offended?
Envy too much. Please, present the work you have done so everybody can comment. BTW, commenting else's work is easy - doing something that's another story.

Never did I say I was better than him for CGI/animation. I simply commented on one aspect of his work, which is the story/script. I give him credits for the rest, but if you seriously enjoyed the script I truly feel sorry for you and your upbringing.+1 for this.

Interesting, I would like to see more of this story line.
