n00b to watercooling - layout advise

sorry for the n00b questions but could really use some help. I just finished building my new comp and noticed it runs pretty hot and is too damn loud! wanted to get a basic watercooled setup but wanted to make sure I'm buying the right parts and I understand the tubing config. wanted to go with the koolance exos2 to cool my athlon x2 and dual 7800gtx's. i'm sure there are better setup's but I'm not really going to OC very much, just want a basic easy to use setup...

getting the cpu-305 (10mm) block
and 2 vid-nv2-l06 (6mm) blocks

im guessing I need at least two 10mm to 6mm F connectors? One to split the flow to each of the vid cards and then another to combine them back to 10mm and back into the exos?
 
I would try to use the same OD on all your parts. Won't kill your flow and it's just plain easier to manage.

Also, this belongs in the watercooling subforum. Will probably get moved soon.
