Did it ever consider to you that they need the ads to well help pay for the sites? I wouldn't be surprised of Hard decided to do the same thing sometimes later so they can pay for their sites which are paid through the ads...

Don't block sites that you frequent... Tis my only advice... Whitelist em damn it.
