I have been looking at monitors for days but cant find any good reviews on the monitors im looking at. :( I ordered a new PC a few days ago. It should be here in 1 week. And I need a monitor. I want a 20", 22" or maby a 24" if it's a good offer.

This seems good i have found 1 review on it and they say it is good.

Dell SP2208WFP

But there is also this 22" Dell, but I can't find any reviews on it.

Dell Ultrasharp 2208WFP

Many people have 22" Samsung's, would something like a Samsung T220 or 226 be better then the Dell SP2208?

Recently I saw the Dell S2409W it seems good spec and really cheap.

Would the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP be alot better then the Dell S2409W?

And is there any other good 24" monitors?

Here is my PC's spec that I have ordered.

Antec Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 overclocked to 3.4GHz
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler
Asus P5Q Deluxe Motherboard
4GB DDR2 Ram
Nvidia Geforce GTX 280
500GB HDD
Thermaltake High Performance 850W PSU
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit
Saitek Eclipse 2 Illuminated Keyboard
Razer Diamondback 3G Mouse

Could you please help me as I need the monitor very soon, I've been looking everywhere but cant find any good forums or review sites. But I found this forum people have said it is the best. Hopefuly that is right.

A Benq FP241VW directly from benq with the code thankyou10 for $450 + shipping.

This is going to be better for your use in gaming because it's much faster than the Dell's 2408 due to the input lag the monitor has, and it uses a similar panel with great viewing angles and colors.

Much better than the other under 24" monitors you listed with TN panels which are fast, but horrible viewing angles.

Hmm I looked at your links and I am guessing you're not from the USA?

The benq fp241vw is overpriced at that store big time, I would research these panels according to your link and find the right one for your, you can search hardforum and something will pop up :)

If you don't care about viewing angles, and you're just sitting in front of the screen I would just call it a day and get the Benq G2400w or the V2400W from overclock.co.uk since they are cheaper and great for gaming.

Hyundai W240-D-PVA ( seems like a bargain right now according to your link )

Thank's alot, ya I am from the UK. What about 22" screens. That is a more better size for me. And my price budget is more around £200. I dosent really matter about viewing angles, because im just going to be sitting in front of it.

The main 2 I am looking at are the Dell SP2208 and the Dell S2409.

I might just buy the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP because I got my computer very cheap. It's only £380 on Overclcokers, but £560 on Dell.co.uk.

Is the 09 model likely to come out soon? Or will it be ok to get the Dell Ultrasharp 2408WFP?
