Need a Core 2 Duo cooler ~40 budget

I'll be building a core 2 duo PC within the next month + want to OC it fairly heavily. My current plans are for the GA-965P-DS3 motherbaord and one of the core 2 processors.. will wait until next month when they plan on releasing some new models and dropping prices on the current linup to choose.

I was thinking the Scythe Ninja, but I'm reading about compatibility issues with the new mounting brackets + my prefered mobo (ds3) (plus I've heard the new brackets cause poor performance)

So what would you buy with a 40-50 dollar budget (including shipping)

I thought they had a newer version of the Big Typhoon out (my pal has one) that was under $50......plus those types of coolers blow air down onto the board and provide secondary cooling for your northbridge....works very well on my rig in the sig....

Nahhhh.... J/K. Depends on the case as well, my Tsunami has a small side intake that blows direct to the cpu cooler, so it runs cooler than if I had a closed cased since it basically gets the cooler ambient air.

If case matters, my rig will be in a super huge case... its an old server case + measures 24x8x18 (HxWxL) - I don't think I'll have a problem fitting anything.
