Need Assassins Creed ending - spoiler me!

Okay, so I'm at the end cinematic of Assassins Creed, but every time I get to a certain part, the game crashes with the "Disc is dirty or damaged" error (it's a rental). I'm not too concerned, because I at least got the achievement for finishing the game, but I'm curious to know how it all ends.

I'm at the part where I just woke up, and they have that conversation about killing me since I'm no use to them anymore. They walk away, and I have these flashes of a pentagram and writing on the floor. As soon as the doctors walk out of the room, it crashes about 5 seconds afterward.

Can somebody fill me in on what happens after that? Thanks.

Nothing happens, that is the end. You use your special vision and view some more writings then the credits roll. Now you know why people were pissed off at the ending. There is no closure, you have to wait for AC2.

meh. Cliff hangers are fine I guess......

Awesome game. I loved it. But towards the end it got a little too combat heavy. I wish it would have stayed more true to the whole stealth formula.
