Hey guys...
I just did a fresh install of Windows XP SP2 - I already have all the latest patches for it, and I have all the latest drivers from my MB/VGA etc. I have a Turtle Beach HPA2 headset. When I try and go into ventrilo, when I test my microphone, it is really quiet. When I try to go and turn on microphone boost, the "advanced" option is "greyed out" - I can't get to microphone boost. Does anybody know why this is happening, and more importantly, how do I fix it? It worked fine on Vista

I fixed it. On the volume control, I went to "options" then checked the box "pink back in" (mic) and it works now!
