need opinions on possible video card upgrade

Ok, HTPC is currently using an AGP 9800pro's component dongle to my HDTV. The DVI does not work properly with my TV. I am quite pleased with the video, so there isn't a problem right now. My question is whether or not the potential benefits of the full Purevideo feature set available on the 7600gt agp cards and a fully functional DVI port would be worth $130 after rebate. I don't do any HD video with the HTPC yet, and probably won't for the forseeable future. The main function is DVD and video playback. If there won't be too much benefit from getting the full Purevideo feature set, then I will let the 9800pro go until it dies. I am always looking to get the best performance for the least amount of dollars. Thanks for the opinions.
