What I am trying to do is copy a bunch of my MP3s to my USB flash drive, and install an MP3 player on the flash drive. This way I can just plug into any computer and have my music with me. I tried Foobar, but I have had some issues with the install surviving the USB disconnect and reconnect, and the volume control doesn't work. I tried Winamp Lite which works well, but it puts entries in the registry. Any other software ideas?

TIA

That's the player I'm looking for - thanks! The only system it doesn't work correctly on is the one at work. We have a sound card but no external speakers, so the system uses the internal system speaker. This is fine for the office, but both Foobar and Coolplayer have no volume control functionality. Ive tried all the options in Coolplayer, but it still just runs max volume. Even the system master volume wont turn anything down. Oh well, the concept works on normal systems. Thanks again!
