well, im looking to oc my a64 3200+ winchester core. ive only got the stock heatsink though. i was just wondering what exactly i should do. im using a biostar tforce matx 939 and had used the auto overclock before. at 2.3 ghz, it was leaving me pretty high temps. at stock everything i run low-mid 30's idle and mid 40's load.

im gana post some screenshots of what it does in the auto oc and such in a minute, just need to apply it.

any help is apreciated.

If the temps are drastically higher then the first thing you'll need to do is get a good aftermarket HSF and apply a good quality thermal compound. You might also consider water cooling if you really want good temps and a high overclock.

well, i noticed that it goes to 1.5 volts on the cpu on the lowest auto oc, so i was wondering if i could achieve the same clock speed at stock voltage to say the least. but i dont even know how to do it myself, so thats where a little bit of guidance comes in. im uploading screen shots now.
