Need widescreen monitor X-mas pres help

I have the LG non-curved version and when mine and that dell came out they were in the $1200 range.
That link is to the 2015 model so I am not sure if it still gets Dells 3 year warranty.

Also, these ultra-wide 34" monitors come in 2 resolutions, 3440x1440 and 2560x1080. I myself prefer the ppi of the 3440x1440 screens.

1070 should be fine on that Dell as my GTX980 ran all the latest games with decent framerates, and the 1070 is a bit faster than my 980.
 
Thanks, any suggestion on the two available curvatures, 1900R and the 3800R? Apparently the 1900R has more curve to it.
 
I've only seen the curved Dell 3415 in person, which doesn't look curved when you are sitting in front of it. My friend bought it when it first came out and he loves it.
