new Asus HD 4870 aftercooler

it seems to be the same "glaciator" fansink as most of their other gfx models, which are getting good reviews.

hole new pc, no ram sinks, total diffrent power system, from what asus told someone on the phone while try requested RMA.. they are usein 4850 parts because "it cost less"

ide take a pass on this one

It looks like the same PCB Powercolor PCS+, and that non-reference MSI is on.

Same cooler used on my Asus 9600GT.

It sucks, and the fan is a bit whiny. Its feels like a toy. When I switched to an AC S1, temps when down 8C on idle.

Right...NO ram sinks as well.

so not a good card?
The reviews I've read about the fan/heatsink from 9600GT&HD4850 was it's pretty quiet and cools well.

I'm kinda glad to hear that as my S1 will be here Monday. The cooling is fine, but the fan is annoying.
