I'm in the process of building my new computer right now, and I don't know which way to connect the the system power led, hdd led, system speaker, reset and power switch connectors to the motherboard. My motherboard and case manuals (p5b-e and lian-li pc7b plus) don't say. Do the negative and/or ground pins connect to the white wires? The speaker cable has one black and one red wire...does the black connect to the +5v pin or to the speaker pin?

I can t tell you specifically where or what direction the connectors are oriented but if you look closely at the pins on your motherboard, they should be labled power, reset, USB, etc.

positive is the colored wire. what? they're all colored? well, ground/negative is also known as common, so the negative wire is the common color. if you didnt get any of that, as vertigo said, trial and error works fine, too. oh, and "non-polarized" means it doesnt matter which wire you plug into positive/negative, as long as both are hooked up to the proper pins.
