I currently have a TT Shark case with an exos2 cooling my cpu and dual 7800gtx cards. Friend offered me a koolance pc4 system for a decent price but now i think i'd rather build my own system this time around.

Case i got in mind is the lian-li v2000 since it seems pretty roomy and should be easy to work with. Really only got an idea of what rad and pump may be good... thinking of the mcp220 w/rad box (hoping this will fit nice outside?) and mcp655 pump.

Could use some help on blocks for my cpu and dual gpu's, tubing, and also a nice res... that AC aquabay res is really nice looking and i think it would go well with this case but can it be integrated into a custom loop or do you need a complete aquacomputer setup? maybe a drain valve too for easy maintenance. thanks in advance

I'm in the same boat as you...building new case, w/c, etc. I'm definitely sold on AC stuff, some people are right, it is like porn, so addicting.

As for your idea about the LL v2000 case, I was thinking the same thing, but still love my TT XaserIII case, and wanted a TT Armor. After looking at it a gazillion times, I have visualized how I am going to cram everything in there...it's going to be a lot of work, but it will be nice.

I would say just think long and hard, plan alot, it's like the theory measure twice, cut once

If you use a 3/8" loop you should have no problems mixing AC p0rn with any other blocks in a loop.

CM stacker with a tripple rad mounted in the top. Can't be beat and it looks sweet!

well, I just got my new TT Armor case yesterday, took as much of it apart as I could, and put the first coat of primer on it.....the inside is going to be prudy

there is a ton of room in that case, I can't wait to start working on it this weekend if I get time

Thanks for the ideas guys, think I still have my heart set on the v2000 though... Started pricing out some AC gear, man that stuff can get expensive when you go all out, but damn is it sexy! the 6mm tubing is a bit too small for my taste so i think i'll just get 3/8 barbs throughout the whole system.

So here's a quick question... Is it possible to mount one of AC triple rads with a swiftech rad box to the back of the case. I didnt measure yet but I'm thinking it may be a bit too big for an outside installation. I'm sure a double would be fine but I would like a little more cooling power, maybe a single 120 in front as well then? Reason why is I would really like to keep the case as stock as possible. I tend to go through cases and pc parts quick and this just makes it easier to sell down the road.

It would look kinda wierd, but you could mount the triple with the barbs on the bottom. It would give your rig a mohawk look, but should work in a pinch.

ok so i think i finally decided on the main parts i want... danger den for almost everything seems the best way to go, good prices too. how's this sound so far?

DD D5 Pump
DD TDX
DD Koosah SLI (still need ramsinks, stupid bfg 7800gtx's have chips on the back too)
BIX 2x120mm
AC Aquatube

since i wanted to integrate the AC res into the loop im going with 3/8 ID tubing. Little easier to get around tight spaces too. I was thinking of using one of the spare ports on the res and run a short line up to the top of the case with a fillport. Is this ok? Seems like a nice solution for filling straight into the res.

think the BIX 2x120 will cut it in this loop with good temps or do i need the 3x120?

Go with the pro rather than the extreme, you'll get better performance with silent or near silent fans that way. Personally I've used the Swiftech MCP220 with a CPU block on a X2 4800+ and SLI 7800GTX's and got great numbers with it. I think it's a wee bit better than the BIP II but they're pretty close in terms of performance.

Get the Pro or the GT stealth.

I loooove my gt stealth :).

Nice part choices otherwise!

if you use extreme use 100+ cfm fans I use extreme with 75 cfm delta's and it's not enough, ok it is (only because I have a triple radiator on just a cpu :p ). Use pro or gt or extreme with extreme fans (you could go all out and get the 220 cfm delta's  ). 30 watts a piece though...
