New cooler from verax.

damn, thermal dissapation as reported by them is insane. gotta see a review on it though.

That is one sweet cooler if it works as advertised. I'd go the two fan option. The Verax fans are very efficient and quiet. I'll bet it's real expensive though. In excess of $100 USD.

It's in german but you can use a translator. They claim it can attain cooling abilities like water-cooling.

Achieving water-like cooling on air isn't *that* difficult. The difficult part is doing it at the same noise levels. Sure, my watercooling system is louder than the stock cooler, but it's not even CLOSE to as loud as the tried and trusted delta 7k, and there's MUCH louder and more powerful fans used on the high-end heatsinks today.

interesting design...looks to be ready for the BTX form factor,
fresh air through the front warm air out the back..
..all fans pushing the same direction.
There may be northbridge coolers (etc.) one day, that are based upon the same design...[speculate]

yes very interesting, nice find, thanks for the link DryFire.

how would such a cooler compare to the SLK-900 with the 92mm Vantec tornado?
