New dell 23" LCD with 2048x1152 res

It's only for sale in Canada right now at $419
Viewing angles are only 160 though and it's got a 2ms response time so it's probably TN panel.

It's nice to see manufacturers upping the resolution on the screens though.

Not really, its still around 100 dpi - same as 20" 4:3 & 30" displays and others. Just a stupid 16:9 panel cut where you loose more vertical space. Sigh
