new egg with recertified?

I was wondering how new egg is with their recertified items? i was looking at a GPS for my GF. do you guys have any experience?
 
The printer I got recently came in perfect condition. YMMV though.
 
positive experiences here, only thing I've ever had an issue with is not getting user manuals sometimes - Google is your friend (I've ordered mobos recert'd)
 
I got a few things from the egg rct from Linksys and they look/perform like new

Did you get all/most of the accessories, like the backplate?
 
yes, but i found a new one on amazon for 10 dollars more so i got that one. the infos good to have though. refurb can be a great way to go!

seemed like a good midway GPS
and i was wrong it wasnt new. it was fact. recertified but i still got that one because the amazon one had the lifetime FM traffic updater while the new egg one didn't say anything about it.
