i have bought 2 320gb westerndigital hard drives. i was wondering if it was best to set them up in a raid-0 array(will be used for music, video editing, and gaming) for the best possible performance? i was also wondering if you can stripe them(i think thats what you call it) then partition it and install windows on that partition so that it is isolated from the rest of my data, or would it be easier to just buy another drive and use it for the bootup?

I'd expect it to help with video somewhat to stripe the disks, but in general it's too much of a risk to your data to do that. If you lose a single disk of a raid 0 array, you lose all the data on it. You could get another disk for a boot drive and stripe the 320s, or use them seperately, but I'd recommend against using a striped volume for reasons of complexity.
