Hello everyone,

I very recently bought an Intel i7 2600k CPU and an ASUS P8H67-M EVO board and 8GB 1333 ram locally.

Then i realized that the Asus board, due to the H67 chipset, couldn't overclock... bad decision to buy without researching first.

Trying to make the best out of my mistake im thinking that ill just get an Intel i3, slap it into the Asus P8H67 EVO and use that to upgrade my current HTPC/fileserver.

That leaves me without a motherboard for my main system (Gaming at 1920x1080/Workstation/watching movies).

I'm not looking to set world records in the overclock department, i just want to set the 2600k to something comfortable on air and let it be. I usually upgrade once a year so preferably the board has USB3 (for future compatibility since i dont own any USB 3 device right now) don't need crossfire or SLI or integrated graphics and i would prefer not to spend over $250 (less is better) since due to my stupidity im upgrading 2 times.

What board would you guys recommend?
What cooler to replace the stock one i'm using for the i7?

Thanks.
