Anyone tried the new PQI Turbo ram, the "8 layer pcb" stuff Newegg is hawking? I'm looking at this for my Battlefield 2 box, 2 1GB sticks.

Here the PQI stuff

Or maybe this Patriot?

Patriot here

I have tried the old PQI non turbo stuff and it always worked and never had any trouble. I OC this machine like a MOFO ( 2.52 Ghz on a Sempron 3100+ ) so it needs to be tight.

Also, you have to remember that the Socket 754 Sempron does not support dual-channel. Therefore, it's better to have as few modules as possible - usually, one single module - installed on that system. With some motherboards, two double-sided modules is too much of a load, and thus will drop your memory clockspeed down to 166MHz (DDR333 or PC2700) and require a 2T command rate.

the msi k8n neo3 that we saw issues with earlier is the first s754 mobo i've seen in all this time around here that has issues with double rank sticks :(
the chaintech is a good board, and should be up for the task, assuming the cpu's memory controller is too
