I've got $100 to spend, and I've got available to me a 5600 Ultra(must be that card- http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=784326) for $95, or a Lanboy Ultra B for $100. Currently, I have a MSI KT3 Ultra 2, which I don't like, and is constantly mis-identifying my CPU as a 1500+ (it's a 2100+) and being poor in general. However, my video card is a Radeon 7000, 64mb DDR. It's freaking slow. So, I leave the decision up to you.

Yeah, yoru vid card does need an upgrade, but so does the rest of your box. Your current setup is going to strangle a top of the line video card.

First upgrade cpu/mobo/ram then upgrade the vid.

or upgrade the vid first and build a new system around that.

Either way, there is no magic bullet upgrade for your box.

go get a 50 dollar refurb mobo from newegg (A7N8X-E deluxe) and grab a ti 4200 from the for sale forum for about 50 bucks.

That should hold ya over for a while.

Not looking for a magic bullet- I'm planning on phasing out each component as I get the money until I have a new box.
