Newegg.com Deals 01/21

It's still $99.00 like it has been for quite some time now. I've been following it for a month trying to decide between it or a GA-X38-DS4.
Really? I've also been following it for the past two weeks and it's been $89.99 up until yesterday or the day before when it increased to $99.99. I can go into FRYS and get it for $94.99 now.

Well, I probably haven't followed it as close as you since I was debating between two boards, but the handfull of time I did looked at it I was at $99. Maybe they've just been flip flopping the price on it.

Oh and don't forget that at Fry's you'll pay sales tax. Newegg doesn't (unless you're in CA, NJ, or TN) and there's free shipping on the board.

Price history of those two boards:

Quite a difference in price between the two, guess you want a Gigabyte board? :)

And yep, newegg has been up and down (as shown).

No, Gigabyte P35-DS3L is just the cheapest reliably overclockable P35 board, and the X38-DS4 is the cheapest dual X16 Crossfire board for Intel. It just worked out that both were by Gigabyte.

Anybody tried buying a computer case? I heard a lot of damaged and bent cases. Shipping back a 30 lbs. case would suck. I'd like to buy a new chasis soon. :D

People buy cases all the time. I've bought four cases from Newegg. Two for myself and two for builds for my family. Never experienced any damage, although I'm sure it does happen here and there.
