what good are the 3-d glasses for...dont they give those out in craker jacks also?

I think I might bite on the RAM since I want an AM3 setup and 4GB of XMS3 1600 is $10 less.

seems to be the average price on CM690 right now, it was 74.99 on amazon with free ship not too long ago. currently $79.98 there, $10 more so if you need it get it.

The 10% is spotty at best, some people can't get it no matter what they try.

the video card is great for someone looking on building an inexpensive folding rig that uses little juice

I'd really consider that video card; would have bought that in a heart beat this time last year, or even two months ago. As it is, I'm pondering it... but would I be able to do SLI with that and my existing 9800GT? The problem is that I have one of the rare ASUS 9800GT Ultimate cards, with 128 stream processors.... I'm not sure that would SLI right, as I've heard that I would need either another 9800GT Ultimate or an 8800GTX to SLI.

The PNY 9800 rebate is good for three units.

So does nv9800 x2 do better then nv260 x1 ?

Depends on the settings/game. I would assume that 9800s would beat it at higher resolutions, but the GTX260 would have the edge in AA/AF etc. However at shader-intensive games, I bet the gtx260 take sit.

Well, they have one for $175 with a $20 MIR and free Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC, which isn't bad. And of course, 6% from Bing.

Of course, they put the MSI 260 GTX v3 on sale the day after I order the v4. But if you guys are looking for a GTX 260, they've got the MSI v3 for $150 on ShellShocker today with free shipping.
