I just want to know where these 5970s came from. Were they buried under a rock since the stock closeout sales around February to March? I thought 5870 chip production ended a long time ago.

30 day warranty on a $400 video card makes me LOL....I was just about to buy it too.

That, plus if it's a 2GB card ... looks like only 1GB per GPU. Ideal for miners, not an ideal gaming card.

lol you kidding? this card generally outperforms two 5870's in crossfire. not to mention to ability to go quad fire for $800 is nutz.

5970 doesn't outperform 2 5870s in crossfire, but it is the fastest card you can get besides 6990 and gtx590

If that card had more than a 30 day warranty I'd buy it immediately. Im not spending 400 on ANYTHING that Im only covered on for 30 days though. Its still tempting for that price.

Wow, I sold my 5970 last spring on Ebay for $650. Are they still in demand for Bitcoining?

Not really. A lot of miners are starting to sell their hardware off, certainly most people arent buying. BTC tanked.
