Newegg... where did IBM go???

So why are IBM thinkpads listed under Lenevo notbooks on newegg... they are still IBM's in the pictures.... whats the deal? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834146085

i think all the thinkpads are keeping the "IBM Thinkpad" corner logo. seem to remember hearing that somewhere...

at least i hope they do, i dont want a "Lenovo Thinkpad" logo on my next machine

the IBM logo on a laptop has a ton of mindshare. lenovo would be stupid to throw that away

Lenovo builds all Thinkpads and computers for IBM, and they have for quite some time.

I believe the contracted stated that levano could only use the thinkpad name for 5-10 years. I don't have the article off hand but some friends were talking about that a few weeks ago and that is what one said.
