Next-Gen Cards

Today I read an article about Windows Vista, and a thought occured to me. I'm planning to upgrade this summer/fall, and I was wondering if the next gen of video cards will have full DX10 support. Does anyone know if ATI or NVIDIA have said anything to this end, or do we all just have to hope?

nVidia's latest refresh, the 7900 series, will not support DX10. But I believe that by this summer [or next, can't remember] the G80 will be released, which will have full DX10 support. I think ATI's R600 should be similar.
