Or will it be both like now? I'm wondering if I should upgrade now or not...

both will be native pci-e apparantly, but i've hear nvidia may make an agp equivalent if the agp of this round sells well (which lets be honest has you cant find one anyway due to demand), however this is also because of lack of pci-e mobo's, cards, and good performance

I have heard from many sources that AGP will not be fully phased out until the end of 2005. This may come in the form of mobo manufacturers making both AGP and pci-e versions of the same board, or finding a way to include both on the same board, as well as vid card makers producing both agp and pci-e versions and possibly an agp-to-pci-e adapter.

So as long as the rest of your rig will last that long, upgrading now should still be ok.

I could buy a vanilla Leadtek 6800 128mb for around $430 Canadian, good deal?

Via is making a chipset I think is for the A64 that has both PCIe and AGP on the board. And its not one of the hacks where the AGP is hooked up to the PCI bus.
