NVIDIA control panel won't stay on s-video

I have my tv connected to my computer via an s-video cable. Now the display is recognized by the Nvidia control panel, but it only shows the connection as composite. If I try to change the connection to s-video (the only other option) and hit apply, then it just goes back to saying it's connected via composite. Before when this was happening I would reinstall the video drivers and it would select s-video. Reinstalling keeps it on composite now.

I'm using the 260.99 WHQL driver windows 7 x64.

Anyone have any idea what I can try next?

PC display on an S video output would look like crap. 480i is the most you would get out of it (The TV display from the PC would be 640x480). Sounds like you need a new TV with HDMI. S-video isn't worth being used as a PC input IMO.

What kind of TV is this hooked up to? Even VGA would give you a much nicer picture than s-video.

The picture is fine. I've got it working occasionally.

The problem is the NVIDIA control panel will not save my settings when I select s-video. I've tried different driver version all the way back to 197 and the problem persists.

I have MSI GTX 260
