OBO...What does this mean as a seller?

Obviously it means or best offer.

But I just offered a member a price for a water cooling setup. He declined it because he said it would cost $15 to ship AFTER saying in his thread shipping was included.

He has yet to get his asking price for the setup so...shouldn't my offer be the "OBO" ?

just wondering...

your offer may have been an offer but doesn't mean it's the best

likely a lowball

Sure it's the best offer... but he obviously has a minimum he won't go below. Your's just didn't meet it, in his mind.

Consider it a reserve, like eBay.

When I use that it just means I'm desperate and will consider anything remotely reasonable. :p

yes thats about right, when I say "OBO" I have a dead limit of what I will go down to..

Plus on something when you offer an amount if the item in question is big, offer plus shipping along with it (it helps sometimes)
