OCZ Memory Booster (VDimm up to 3.9 volts!!) | Anyone have one? Does it work?

Sounds like a bad idea.

Looks like it just inserts power using a dimm.

yeah it basically takes away the vdimm control from the motherboard and i think allows you to pump as much juice into the memory sticks as you possibly can, they actually had to cap it or something to prevent brushfires ;D

I dont really know exactly how it works but ive heard from them its not compatible with a64s atm, but works with everything else. Just a pay-money-for-us-to-voltmod-your-system-for-you thing

Bout time they are for sale. I have been looking. I have to get more volts to my mem, this board only allows 2.7. Would be sweeeeet if I could hit 3.0Ghz
