Offline files sync issue.

I have a user, pretty high up too go figure. He got a new laptop instead of a desktop and we setup offline files for him so he can undock and work from home. However whenever he creates a new file at home when he comes in they won't sync. I can't find any specific messages that would explain the issue either on the computer or the server and most times it just goes away on its own, the files eventually sync while we aren't looking.

The error is a generic access denied error however I can create new files and new folders on the server at the time, these network shared folders are his so he has full access and ownership.

I'm stumped.
