I had a problem with my X2 5600+ @3.1ghz. While i was overclocking i couldnt figure out why my DDR2 6400 which ran @1000Mhz in the same mobo wouldnt run @1000Mhz anymore after changing the 3200Orleans to the 5600CZ. I found some very helpfull info from a Cpu/divider chart i found on the net. Turns out when i would set my memory to 800Mhz it was using the( CPU 14/mem) divider! It would only do this if i upped my FSB to Oc the 5600 to 3.1Ghz and tried using my memory @1:1 ratio. Its suppose to set a Cpu/mem divider of CPU/7 not CPU/14. This was causing my mem to run double the DDR2 speed of 800Mhz and Bluescreening my pc..

If you look @ the chart below it shows for a HTT of 217 -233 i should of had a 7divider for 800Mhz..Which would of run my mem@907Mhz Stable In fact my memory was used with a 6 divider @900Mhz and a 7 @960Mhz while i was using the 3200+. For some unknown reason my mother board or the MemoryControler on the CPU would only run the 14divider when using the 800Mhz setting in Bois for memory raising the FSB to OC. So now i guess ill settle for 667 divider for now. Even if i lower my Cpu multi then raise FSB to 260 x 12=3.1Ghz it will still try too use a CPU 14/mem controler divider instead of a 7 ! So in case im not the only one here experiancing this here is a Chart that shows the given speed of HTT and what the CPU multi should read for every Memory /Cpu Divider. I believe that the X2 memory controler suffers when overclocking. It dose use correct multi only @2.8ghz stock speed. If i didnt find this chart i would of never new!

The 5600+ Overclocks great!...I need new mobo or a Vcoremod for a good 3.2 or3.3Ghz clock My vCore stops @1.408v on this Msi with mod bios. all i need is .10v-or.15v .It gives the option for .35v over 1.4v MAX CORE but when set it dosnt work:( I never done a Vcore mod yet but tempted.
