I just snagged one as well from there. I will post some stuff up later. Right now I just set it at 20x200 at 1.25 volts.

In all seriousness though, you should OC it to it's most stable state and then fold with it. Because I doubt whatever you do will utilize it enough.

Edit: Nice, AthlonXP. You should let that run for a bit longer than a few mins though.. like overnight or something, then jack it up and repeat. I'm sure you're not even close to the ceiling right now either, hah.

Also, your sig says "Core 2 Duo 920", hah.. might want to change that ;).

Forums are for discussion, not picture pimping. There are some threads where the entire point is to post pictures, so feel free to contribute to those. But if you need to do more than just post pictures in other threads.

It seems from many examples of 980x oc'ing that it takes quite a bit more juice than vanilla quad core nehalems to hit same clocks, which is surprising considering it's 32nm process...
 
Now go put it to use and stop posting pics I can find on Newegg/Amazon/etc. ;)

Nice OC! ZZF faked me out, they were showing the 980 as ready to buy and ship but of course they take my $1k and THEN its back ordered. Oh well.

That voltage doesn't look bad to me, just on the high side but not bad at all!
 
Ayone have the brass to run Core Damage on their 1100 dollar cpu yet? Be interested to the see temps :) I think it would melt with the stock cooler...

Lol, I actually started to do that when I made my post, but I didn't have the patience to search for them all.

I like how Mike always just blatantly posts his pics of little to no relevance and doesn't acknowledge anyone's posts afterwords. He's just ignorantly trying to show off. What makes him even more amazing though is that everyone including mods tell him to stop to no avail.

he does contribute to the gaming forums SOMETIMES. Mostly when he can defend DRMs. The man is baffling.
 
Reminds me of douchey kids from k-12. The kind of guys that would bring CDs to school when they were first on the market.
