im currently fiddling with this board..i got it for free when boss was tossin old parts out
On the CASE of the system it said Gateway GP7-550
ive looked @ gateways site for this model but i cant find any info
i want to make sure the bios is up to date, and ive done some googling, diggin thru HP and Intels site, and im just kinda lost...i ran Adida32(i believe thats what its called off hirens boot disk)
my board says its a Intel Warm Springs WS440BX Bios Type Phoenix PCI PnP (04/22/99), and system bios date also says 04/22/99
when the system boots i see this in the upper left above the gate way logo, it seems to be a bios string, but searchin for this has proved a bit challenging with mixed results

does that mean anything to anyone? is there something newer to use? ive downloaded a few bios updates, and im leery of using either of em, since im not 110% sure theyre the right bios files
SP11882.exe - it unpacks
SP13363.exe - it also unpacks
but in the readme's i cant find any info relating to the board, and im not gonna screw this thing up...anybody got some help?
