a game featuring David Bowie voicing a few of the characters and performing music for the sound track
may be worth a try
 
It was worth a try 17 years ago when it came out. I fear it would be more than a bit dated today.

But yeah, David Bowie, RIP, etc.
 
Cool game back in the day. Big, relatively open cyberpunk world with lots of buildings and businesses you can walk into. Interestingly little adventure mystery storyline with investigative work and puzzles. A few of David Bowie's alter ego concerts to go to in game. Bio-mechanical penis implants. Surprisingly fun 1v1 hand to hand combat with an almost street fighter style move list. FPS scenes were somewhat less fun, but everything came together to make a fun ride. And man that final boss battle was tough.
 
It was great game. Had a lot of cool concepts and offered a lot of different possibilities. I was really hoping for part 2, but it got cancelled
