I'm interesting in what types of gains i could get from overclocking my card and how i would go about doing it. i've never been big on overclocking, but i'm getting curious. thanks

I have a zalman vf700 on it strictly for noise reasons.
It is easy. Use something called Coolbits and it will help you actually find a decent range.
Make sure you have decent cooling and check the area where the card is. I have a KN8 SLI and they place the bridge in the most stupidest area. I get hot pockets and had to put an outake fan by that area and a slow fan close to the bridge. There goes the idea for fanless design...
