Hi people. I've recently received my Windows Vista Ultimate disks. Having played around with the OS a bit, I want to upgrade for the aesthetic/visual features when working on my 24" BenQ. (Computer specs in signature are updated)
I noticed that when I ran a trial version of Vista 32-bit with my 1Gb of ram, the system would slow down immensely after running for awhile. This can range from a couple hours to 4-6 hours when this system, under Windows XP MCE 2005 could run on without any problems. (I don't know if it has to do with bad drivers or poor/faulty ram management with my hardware combination)
Would anyone recommend paying $75-80 for two quick 2x1GB DDR400 sticks? Does anyone have similar hardware/experience with Vista? Thanks!
