Remember back a year and a half ago? When the great pagefile flame war was waging?
After several moves and a complete system/OS overhaul, I had thought I deleted said images.
I found them in an obscure backup directory and have rehosted them. This is not meant to start another flame fest...but an opportunity for a search result for pagefile searches.
this test run was the beginning of my eyes opening that setting no pagefile has negligable results. After reading several books on the MS 2000/XP OS, I have learned that the pagefile is a good thing to have around. I now run an A64 w/ 2GB of ram...I run a pagefile and it zips along just fine.
I hope this is benificial somewhere.
