Paypal payments source.

Hello, can any paypal users explain why I'm not given the option to pay someone from paypal funds that are already in my paypal account. It seems to default to the linked checking account as the source. Thanks!

Try going through with payment and it will deduct whatever is in your balance first.

I believe it has always automatically removed from my balance no matter what even if there is any funds before the 24 hours or whatever you have to wait when selling things on ebay.

I don't use paypal anymore but I seem to remember it working like inelegant said also. It will always pull from an available paypal balance before using your selected payment method.

The same thing happened to me. It said it would use my checking account. Then when I went through with the order it used the paypal balance first.
