what does it look like It says I have a pci wifi card
Can it be removed? It sucks it never picks anything up and I want to take it out if I can to save on my battery.I have a dlink card I slide in and I can pick up stuff 2 blocks away
It would probably be easier just to disable it. Depending on your laptop, it'll either be an actual switch or button somewhere on the laptop, a keyboard combination (Fn + another key), or go through Control Panel --> Network Connections and right click - disable the wireless connection.
