Heya, I am looking into getting the upcoming ASUS Xonar HDAV1.3 Sound card, however, I'd just like to confirm that if I were to get this card, it could work on a x16 slot. I am aware that my wifi (D-Link Xtreme-N PCIex1) card along with other PCIe x1 wifi cards can work on all PCIe slots provided it fits, however, I am not 100% sure on the sound card department. Can someone confirm?

Thanks :)

All PCI Express x1 cards should function in x2/x4/x8/x16 slots. The only thing that would keep it from happening would be if the motherboard has a half-assed implementation that limits the x16 slots to video cards.

If your wifi card if working in an x16 slot then anything else should also work in it. Incidentally, how do you like that card? I was looking at getting a wireless-N nic and it seems to be the only PCI Express one available (for whatever reason).
