Pentium D: "Requires Intel 945/955X Express Chipset"????

Hello,

On the box label for the Pentium D 820 I just got, it reads: "Requires Intel 945/955X Express Chipset". Is this for real? Can I not use this chip with any other chipsets? I just installed it in a Tyan barebones server with i7221 and it won't POST.

You may need to update the bios, according to Tyans website on 03/03/05 there was a new bios update "TYAN TOMCAT i7221 (S5150) BIOS V1.03"one of the added features was - * Added Intel P4 EMT64 CPU support.

It's actually an S5151, which only has one BIOS rev. The website claims it supports Pentium D.
