Phone calls disrupt wireless dsl internet

Everytime we get a phone call, I lose my wireless internet to the dsl modem 2 rooms away. We have wireless phones and I'm guessing it has something to do with the frequency ranges of the phones (I think they are 2.4ghz) and my US robotics wireless pci card. Is there anything I can do to solve this besides hard wiring it?
 
Yes, get new phones. There's plenty of ~5ghz phones around for pretty cheap; although someone else will probably give you a real solution.
 
i think you can go into the wireless modem settings and change the channel the wireless uses that should work,

what kind of modem is it?
 
My 2.4Ghz phone only interfered with channel 1 of my wireless router. Try another channel on the router.
