photoshop help needed

Can someone help me with photoshop this white bar across my image.
My wife and I took a boat tour up the Chicago river and took a nice pic of the Sears Tower, but I guess we got part of the boat canopy in the image.

I absolutely suck a anything graphic arts related and was wondering if anyone could help me. Thanks in advance.

I did do a little touchup, but dont have a host for the full sized image
sorry

the only thing that caught my eye at first glance
obviously final reproduction size would determine what type of effort gets put into "fixing" the image
the columns to the left being a far more involved fix
