Ok, I know this won't work on Vista because it only allows one display driver, but on Windows XP has anyone successfully used an ATI card as the primary graphics and had a Nvidia based card doing the Physx work?

It's been done by a bunch of review sites, but none of them actually show how.

i'm working on it with my HD4850 and 9500GT - it is possible, i have both of them working as GPUs, but the PhysX software seems to be ignoring the 9500.

I'm going to run around and try some other PhysX drivers and see what happens.

OK, well while the PhysX control panel insists i have no PhysX acceleration and i can't run the fluid demo...

I can run warmonger at 1680x1050 max settings, over 60fps.

before i put in the 9500GT i was lucky to get 20fps at 1440x900 all minimum.

So there's some physx going on in there somewhere!

Here's a pic that shows the 2 cards functional:

This would be interesting to know.

My brother's system has ATI graphics on a nV 6150 motherboard so I wondered about having the integrated gfx helping out with PhysX, but never actually tried it.

6150 is too old, need at least 8xxx series
